-Saturday, June 8, 2023 - 8:30 - 11:30 AM
-Check in begins at Jarboe Park at 8:00 AM
-Hot Dog Lunch and Awards at 11:30 AM 
-Register by May 26 at:

The Fishing Derby is open to kids 12 and Under

Prizes will be awarded for:
-Longest Catfish or Hardhead
-Longest Flounder
-Longest Redfish
-Longest Trout -Sand trout or Speckled trout allowed
-Largest or Longest Unusual Fish - Alligator gar, Sea snake, Stingray or other species.         

Fishing Derby Rules:
-Must be age 12 and under.
-Check in starts at 8:00 AM at Jarboe Pavilion.
-Official Fishing Time - 8:30 and 11:30 AM.
-Kids need to fish the Clear Lake Shores Island or Lazy Bend Canals.
-Contact a fish judge by phone or wave down to measure and take a picture of the fish for documentation.
-All fish are catch and released during the tournament unless a parent wants to keep it.
-Fish can be caught with artificial or dead/live bait.
-Adults should limit their assistance when the kids are catching a fish.
